# Architecture Overview

Piggycell operates across five tightly integrated layers designed for flexibility, scale, and real-world integration.

**1. Layer 1/2 Integration:**\
Multichain support (BNB Chain, Internet Computer, Solana) allows Piggycell to integrate with major Web3 ecosystems.

**2. Modular Device Layer:**\
APIs and firmware standards onboard third-party hardware with ease—anyone can turn their device into an energy node.

**3. Data & Usage Layer:**\
Real-time energy consumption is logged on-chain, supporting analytics, auditability, and AI-driven optimization.

**4. Token Utility Layer:**\
PIGGY Token powers:

* Charging access (pay-per-use)
* Hosting rewards (yield)
* Staking (governance, upgrades)
* Node incentives (performance-based bonuses)

This layered design allows Piggycell to scale globally, from urban markets to rural communities—without compromising performance or trust
